Natural SkincareIt’s easy to get lost in the variety of skincare products of all types available on the market today. You may be surprised, but in case of natural skincare there’s no need to buy anything special, as most of natural skincare products can be already found at home – mostly in your kitchen. So let’s take a look what we have!

Honey. Honey is a special ingredient in natural skincare. It is a great moisturizer and exfoliant. It can also be used as an acne treatment because of its cleansing properties. You can use it as is or mix it with oatmeal, cinnamon and other components to prepare a great variety of facial masks.

Chocolate. Eating a small amount of chocolate a day can be beneficial for your skin. The thing is that chocolate contains flavanols which have antioxidative properties. They also improve blood flow what is undoubtedly great for making you skin look younger and smoother.

Lemon juice. If you found a lemon in you fridge, you are lucky! Some drops of lemon juice mixed with egg white is very good for a facial mask. Keep it on you face and neck for about 20 minutes and if you do that regularly you will surely notice improvement soon.

Olive oil. Olive oil is another strong moisturizer. If you have dry skin (and olive oil in the kitchen), it time for action. To prepare an effective mask mix it (1 tablespoon) with an egg yolk and some honey. Keep it on your face for about half an hour. It also works great for aging skin.

Green tea. Greern tea has always been praised for its antioxidative properties what means it will prevent your skin from premature aging. If applied topically, green tea can soothe skin inflammation and make it smooth and more elastic.

Coffee. Coffee also plays a significant role in natural skincare. It is a remarkable exfoliator and reducer of cellulite and varicose veins. Just grind some coffee beans and rub your skin with them alone or mix it with other ingredients, for example, with sugar which comes in the next point.

Sugar. Remember, sugar is beneficial if applied topically, but not taken inside. Just like coffee, it is a great exfoliator. Sugar mixed with olive oil is an excellent scrub. Use it while taking a buth or shower and you will soon notice that your skin looks smother and younger.

Natural Skincare ProductsNatural skincare is not only about ingredients that you can find and mix in your kitchen. If you want to fully step on the path of natural skincare, here are the points that are also worth considering:

Exercises. Everyday exercises let more oxygen in the body, thus, improving all its main functions and, consequently, leading to a more healthy condition of your skin. Physical activities also relieve stress that is believed to be one of the main causes of acne.

Proper nutrition. A healthy and balanced diet will work wonders for your health and your skin in particular. Eat more foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, vitamins A and C. Avoid or at least cut down on fat and fried foods in your diet.

Regular cleansing. To prevent you skin from getting oily don’t forget to perform skin cleansing twice a day – in the morning and before going to bed. It will also help you soothe skin inflammation and avoid acne. It is also advisable to tone and moisturize your skin with natural skincare products to prevent dryness.

Water. Finally, a great and probably the easiest natural skincare tip is to drink more water everyday. Water keeps your skin moisturized, thus, preventing boils, lines and wrinkles.

Summing it up, natural skincare should rather be taken as an approach, a living position, a lifestyle. And what’s remarkable about it is that it requires nothing special but the intention to make oneself more beautiful and healthy.
